Workshop Details
- Date: Monday, September 14th
- Place: Casa Del Prado, Room 104
- Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop starts.
- Fees: $80, plus $5 in cash for materials, utensils, paper products and room rent.
Theme
AM: Disassembling and rearranging the materials
An arrangement in which the original appearance of the material is changed, using willow or grasses if possible. See textbook 4-9, pages 78 and 79.
Bring your own materials, grasses or willow if possible, along with flowers for color. Bring a vase, and a kenzan if you need one.
PM: Abstract composition using cardboard rolls
An abstract composition built from the cardboard cores of empty toilet paper, paper towel or wrapping paper rolls. Bring ten or more of them, along with leaves and flowers.
Also bring glue, tape, staples, wire, and a plastic water bottle or orchid holder to hold water.
Please bring a dish of food to share with everyone.
